Thanks for sending the links, Raul. I had not seen those before, and they look very helpful.
I had not heard the term "phrasal verbs" until someone here asked a question about them. When you grow up with a language you take all this for granted. I can imagine how difficult the English language must be for someone who is not a native speaker.
There are differences between British English and American English, also. I never realized just how many difference there are until I began using the Harper Collins dictionary. It gives both British and American usage. Many of the British uses I have never ever heard! And there are some spelling differences, also.
Are you a translator? A translation student?
