En el 2003 fuimos 7 los latinoamericanos que fuimos a Libraries in the heart of the information society, en Ginebra. Pero hubo un financiamiento especial. Muchas veces se recuerda como el esfuerzo más exitoso en temas de "advocacy" (cabildeo tiene connotaciones negativas en mi país y no he encontrado aún una palabra en español para estas actividades). En aquella oportunidad fuimos colegas de 79 paises los que nos reunimos con nuestros delegados ante los organismos internacionales afincados en Ginebra.
Ojalá que alguien pudiera ir.
