La crisis nos está golpeando de muchas maneras últimamente. Sé que la decisión
se ha tomado por motivos muy sólidos y de acuerdo con las informaciones de los
compañeros de la organización
australiana, pero aún así, es una dura decisión, después de tantísimo tiempo
trabajando con ilusión y esfuerzo para tener un buen congreso en 2010. Por ello
los compañeros australianos merecen todo
nuestro agradecimiento por su esfuerzo, y nuestros mejores deseos de que éste,
tras un lapso de tiempo, pueda tener una continuidad y un resultado fructífero.
Por otro lado, no dejo de pensar en los
compañeros de Suecia -y en los de La Haya, por supuesto- y todo el trabajo extra
y urgente que se les viene encima, para organizarlo todo en poco más de un año.
Creo que todos nos sentimos solidarios con ellos y estoy segura que ellos
también saben que pondremos todo de nuestra parte para facilitarles las cosas lo
más posible. Los bibliotecarios somos
imaginativos y valerosos, y nosotros sabemos muy bien -demasiado, a veces- lo
que es trabajar con el viento económico en contra...
Mucho coraje para todos, nos vemos en Milán.
