VOLUNTEER MACAW COUNTERS are needed for the first Macaw Bird Count in

Belize 17-19 Jan 2009. The estimated population of Scarlet Macaws (Ara

macao) is perhaps 300 individuals and I hope to get a minimum population

number from this event which will be much like a Christmas Bird Count.

This is part of a doctoral research project and you will need to pay all

expenses and a bit more to assist Belizeans to participate. Contact MARK
