Programa Internacional para Voluntarios

El Programa Internacional para Voluntarios (IVP) fue creado para nuestros
miembros internacionales y aquellas personas alrededor del mundo que deseen
unirse a nosotros y ser parte de nuestros programas en el Pacífico Sur. Esta
es una forma de contactar a voluntarios internacionales con voluntarios
locales para intercambiar experiencias, conocimientos nuevos, y hacer lazos
de amistad en todo el mundo. Esto es muy importante para nuestros proyectos,
pues todos trabajamos por los mismos objetivos y cada voluntario nos brinda
apoyo incondicional en nuestras actividades.

Los Voluntarios Internacionales se involucran apoyando las investigaciones,
promoviendo la conciencia ecológica en otro país, partcipando en la
conservación del planeta y teniendo la oportunidad única de interactuar con
especies nativas, costumbres diferentes, locaciones naturales, pescadores,
conservacionistas e investigadores.

El Programa IVP actual te invita a participar en el:
Programa de Investigación de Poblaciones de Cetáceos Costeros -PIPCETAC-
Dentro de este programa, tendrás la oportunidad de:
aprender sobre ballenas, delfines, marsopas y otras especies que habitan en
las costas del Perú.
conocer de cerca a los mamíferos marinos del la costa del Pacífico
Sudamericano.
proteger a los mamíferos marinos del este del Pacífico Sur.
recibir entrenamiento personalizado para la interacción con especies marinas
en su medio ambiente.
tener la satisfacción de trabajar con científicos locales, aprendiendo más
sobre los mamíferos marinos utilizando técnicas de investigación no
invasivas.
vivir la experiencia de conocer Perú, el Hemisferio Sur y su encanto
escondido!

possible. This will guarantee a booking until your arrival for sign up with
the ORCCAMM Staff. We encourage you to make sure to send this form early,
because evaluation and acceptance of volunteers is limited. The submitance
of this form does not imply acceptation to the program.

Insurance:
All participants are required to have a travel insurance. You are required
to bring a copy of your insurance policy for the ORCCAMM Staff. If you
arrive at a ORCCAMM IVP site without insurance, the IVP Staff is going to
connect you with the appropiate insurance company on site. In case of no
insurance, the ORCCAMM IVP management is entitled to reject your
participation without refund.

PAYMENT:
The ORCCAMM Staff will contact you on the regulations on payment. Once form
received, a 10% deposit of the total is require for booking and registration
Deposit should be made to the ORCCAMM account number provided.
Full payment of the balance due to ORCCAMM International Volunteer Program
will be required as soon the volunteer is accepted on site. Once on ORCCAMM
site, only cash accepted. No refunds after volunteer program begins.

Visas and passports:
It is important that your passport is valid for the period of travel in
question and that you adhere strictly to the visa instructions.
Note: American citizens with valid passport have 3 months of free transit in
Peru. After this period, visa is required.

Privacy:
I agree with the transfer of my personal data in this Reservation Form of
the ORCCAMM International Volunteer Program both for my initial booking and
my registration to the ORCCAMM staff for the ORCCAMM project that I am
applying for.

All new registrations will receive a confirmation of acceptation the
following week to the arrival of this form.
