Asian Academy Newsletter, August 2008

29 August . The Asian Academy for Heritage Management is pleased to
announce the recent publication of its Newsletter Volume V, Issue 2. With
the support of UNESCO and ICCROM, the Asian Academy promotes integrated,
multi-disciplinary management of heritage resources, including tangible and
intangible.

LATAM introduced to the 'Young Guides for Heritage' programme

1 August. The launch meeting of LATAM, held in Cartagena de Indias,
Colombia, provided an occasion for participants to visit this site. The
organized visits, led by well- informed young guides, introduced the
participants to a successful Colombian initiative: 'Vigías del Patrimonio
Cultural'.
