@ VOLUNTEER ON KOH CHANG ISLAND. OPENMINDPROJECT (THAILAND)

VOLUNTARIO

Volunteer on Koh Chang, at the national park or at a school. Koh
Chang is an amazingly beautiful and increasingly popular Thai island
close to Cambodia.

Volunteers who love the sea, jungle and mountains and who want to
teach children or
support the national park in its ecological and eco tourism efforts,
are welcome to Koh Chang.

You can
- teach English to school children
- computer training,
- help to make simple teaching tools
- volunteer in the national park
- help the local people with ideas to develop community based eco tourism


At the schools, volunteers live with a teacher family or in a
teachers house by the school.
At the national park you stay in one of their cabins with a seaview!

We offer
Pre Departure preparations and information: Country and culture
information, Thai language, teaching and volunteer advice, including
travel information.

Three day In Country Orientations for new volunteers in Thailand:
Language and teaching training, Country and culture information,
cross culture information, welcome dinner with questions and answers,
CD ROM, Internet Community support.
